Sukie & Jack
One day on the way to work, I stopped at the local convenience store. As I pulled up, I could have sworn I saw a horse tethered to a dumpster on the side of the building. We are zoned for horses, so it was neat, but not terribly unusual. Then I realized that the horse had horns! On closer inspection, I realized I was looking at a cow... wearing a bridle and saddle. It turns out that a very nice older gentleman, who takes the term cowboy very seriously, rides his cow around the neighborhood. Jack also has a horse that he rides occasionally. He has even been known to saddle up his lawnmower, giving all new meaning to the term "riding mower." He graciously let me borrow and scan this picture of himself sleeping with his cow.
