I've been helping my mom redecorate her living and dining room. She had painted the walls a beautiful teal and we have added lime accents. It's a bold choice, but beautiful. She had one piece of furniture that was bright yellow and it just didn't fit in with the new color scheme. Rather than just painting it one flat color, we decided to get a little creative. I put together a tole painting design and we painted the cabinet white one day and I painted the design the following day. It took about 12 hours to do the painting, antiquing and speckling.
