Maverick is six years old. He's half Sheltie and half Old English Sheepdog. You might say, his mom was Old English and his dad was ambitious. He's the single best dog I've ever owned. He is smart, obedient, quiet, playful and loving. He loves to play fetch and is very good with a frisbee. Too bad I can't throw one!

He's got one bad habit. He is a thief! Maverick is tall enough to get food off of the kitchen counters, and I've had him steal loaves of bread, entire coffee cakes, biscuits, the list goes on and on.

Don't worry, those teeth won't ever hurt anyone. Maverick doesn't bite, not even in fun. Unless you have a blanket covering you, then you're fair game! All of the fun stops with one word though, "Enough!"
