Shop in Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World; opened on October 1, 1971. The shop sells many varieties of candy, some of it prepared fresh in the shop.
Remarkable Fudge
4 cups sugar
1 can evaporated milk (not sweetened condensed)
1 cup butter
14 oz bag chocolate chips
1 jar marshmallow creme
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup walnuts, broken (optional)
Butter sides of 4 qt heavy saucepan. Mix sugar, milk and butter in saucepan and cook, stirring constantly, to soft ball stage. Do not scrape sides of pan. Watch for sugar crystals and wipe away with damp papertowel. Candy has reached soft ball stage when the syrup forms a soft ball when dropped in a shallow bowl of cold water. The ball will form easily, but will flatten when removed from water. Remove mixture from heat and stir in chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, vanilla and nuts. Stir until chocolate has melted. Pour into buttered 9 x 13 pan. Score while warm, cut when firm. Serves lots of normal people or one of my brothers. Enjoy!

I made it for the first time as a young teen, and I have made it for every Christmas since then. I have never had a batch turn out badly. Try it. ~~Becky
