Frontierland

Frontierland One of the original lands of Disneyland. Walt Disney was always interested in the country's western and Mexican heritage, and he was determined to give his Disneyland guests a feel for the real West. That meant mules and horses to add to the ambiance, but that also meant trouble. Mules were ornery and occasionally bit the guests or refused to move. Horses pulling the stagecoaches and wagons would get spooked by the whistles of the trains as they passed nearby.

Finally, with great regret, Disney agreed that the live animals had to leave Frontierland. Frontierland is also in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World and at Disneyland Paris. In Tokyo Disneyland, the land is known as Westernland.

I like the Big Thunder Railroad, but otherwise it isn't one of my favorite lands. Now, if they still had live animals... ~~Becky
