On my last trip to Disneyland (with my brother) we tried to go see the Enchanted Tiki Room but it wasn't open yet, so we shopped until it opened.

We waited about 30 minutes to finally get in, and just as the show was supposed to start, they had technical difficulties and had to cancel the show. The cast member announced the problem and said, "But, to make up for the inconvenience, we have a special treat for you... Rene dancing!" Upon which, one of the other cast members did a quick soft shoe for us.

I love little things like that. In case you hadn't noticed, I love to laugh, and comedy over adventure is always my preference. As we left we walked past the gate where Rene and friend were turning people away. I stopped by and told them that I had come to the park Just to see the Tiki room and my whole weekend was ruined. "But," I said, "At least I got to see Rene dancing. You don't get to see that every day." Upon which, I got a private performance!
